Kathryn Amyotte Micou, Soprano

Kathryn Amyotte Micou is a soprano, teacher, and vocal coach whose artistry has captivated audiences for over forty years. Co-founder of The New York Film Chorale, she has built a career that effortlessly bridges classical, Broadway, and jazz, performing on opera stages, with symphonic choruses, acclaimed jazz ensembles, and on national television, including ABC’s The Angels Sing. She was also celebrated as Microsoft’s top soprano for nearly a decade.

Touring with Broadway star Tom Wopat and producing performances for orchestras and vocal ensembles, Kathryn has demonstrated remarkable versatility and stage presence. For over thirty years, she nurtured singers through her private studio in Darien, Connecticut, and now shares her expertise in Wolfeboro, New Hampshire, inspiring a new generation of performers.
